Beaches in Puerto Vallarta

At Enforex we understand that when you come to Puerto Vallarta you want to spend as much time as possible at the beach. That's why our school is located just one block from those Pacific shores! What better place to spend time before, between and after classes? There are two urban beaches located on the edge of the Zona Romántica, where our school is located; in fact, when you sign up for one of our Spanish courses with us you'll be just steps away from the soft sand and sparkling water of Playa Olas Altas and Playa de los Muertos!

The surrounding coastline offers everything from infinite stretches of sand to intimate coves and everything in between. Heading north of Puerto Vallarta the beaches are generally pretty crowded, as many of Puerto Vallarta's beach resorts are found between Puerto Vallarta and Marina Vallarta, the city's port and luxury development. Beaches include: Playa Camarones, Playa las Gorias, Playa los Tules, Playa las Palmas, Playa de Oro and finally Playa el Salado (located in Marina Vallarta).

The beaches south of Puerto Vallarta are generally quieter and more laid back, as the major developments are along the northern coastline. Beaches include: Playa Conchas Chinas, Playa Estacas, Playa los Venados, Playa Punta Negra, Playa Garza Blanca and Playa Gemelas. Even further south - approximately 12 kilometers - is the landmark cove called Mismaloya, which was the scenic location for the film The Night of the Iguana starring Hollywood icons Richard Burton and Ava Gardner.
